Summer Fayre - Sunday 6th August 2023

A huge thank you to everyone who attended this years Summer Fayre and for making the event a huge success.

The actual amount of money raised will, as usual, be announced at our 2024 AGM: however initial indications suggest it will be over £500. This will be split between improvements on site and local good causes.

We would also like to say a big thank you to all the organisers and people who helped out on the day. A special thanks also to Sue Rowbotham and Julie Williams-Ridge who organised the day and to Alan Fergus. We would also like to thank everyone who donated items to the bric-a-brac and auction.

We are also extremely grateful to all the following organisations who so kindly donated items

Tesco

The Cumberland

The Fox

Angels hairdressers

The Co-op

Club Baize

Wetherspoons

Drakehouse Mill

The Milestone

Ferndale Garden Centre

Chatsworth Farm + Playground

The Belfry

The Fairway

Sheffield Utd FC

Norfolk District Explorer Scouts

Tools for the auction were generously given by New Leaf Plant Centre and S20 Garden Services.

Autumn Fayre - 16th October 2022

A huge thank you to everyone who came to the Autumn Faye. We were not sure how many people would turn up to the event, as it was the first time we have held a Fayre in October but we were overwhelmed by how many people turned up, including many new plot holders who have joined since our last Summer Fayre in 2019.

We are still totting up the takings but we will have raised a considerable amount to put to good use around the site and to invest in future Summer Fayres.

We would also like to say a big thank you to all the organisers and people who helped out on the day (Helen & Richard Longden, Dave Brown, Robin Chattaway, Gerald Swift, Marie Greyson and Mark Kirby). A special thanks also to Sue Rowbotham who organised the day and Alan Fergus who not only helped out with the organisation, and not only did another outstanding job as master of ceremonies but he was also suffering quite badly with a cold and (not that you'd know it but...) felt pretty bad on the day! The good news is that his voice has now completely gone....a first time for everything!

Again, a big thank you to everyone who helped our or attended on the day.

Summer Fayre Photo's - Beighton allotments are as much about the people as the plots!
