The National Allotment Society (NAS) - is the leading national organisation upholding the interests and rights of the allotment community across the UK. They work with government at national and local levels, other organisations and landlords to provide, promote and preserve allotments for all. They offer support, guidance and advice to their members and those with an interest in allotment gardening.

Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) - Very commercial but the definitive organisation for plants and plant care in the UK. Worth a look especially the plant finder section. More plant and garden than general allotment based.
Facebook Allotment & Vegetable Growers Group - (one of them anyway). This group has over 40,000 members with a wide variety of experience from the novice to the expert. It's definitely worth joining.
